Joel 2:20-27, 1 Sam 30:7-9
• God’s way of restoration is to bring in a breakthrough and through that breakthrough you will recover the years that you have lost.
• He will make you step into something whose proceeds will cover the lost years.
• Since man fell, restoration is an important aspect of the Christian walk because there is an enemy who is against fulfillment of destinies.
• The Holy Spirit must be involved in any restoration that will take place in the life of the believer.
• The Holy Spirit is the spirit of restoration.
• When something big is about to come your way, be careful with distractions and negative things that will come your way which don’t look like where God wants to take you. That is the work of the enemy.
• If you focus on the negative, you will not have faith in God for what He is about to do.
• When the economy gets so bad and you are focusing on the economy, you have missed what He is about to do.
• When God wanted to rescue the children of Israel from slavery, their oppressors increased their burden.
• God doesn’t work according to our systems.
• To experience restoration, you need to be sensitive, you need to rise above circumstances so that you can hear what others cannot hear and see what others cannot see.
• To hear from God, you need to have a sober mind.
• You can sing songs, worship God just to clear your mind.
• As you are seeking for restoration, you will come to a point where all the zeal, encouragements that came with you will go.
• There will be a separation between those who are serious and those who are not.
• Understand that it is not going to be easy.
• You have to pursue until you get it.

WHAT ARE THE FORCES THAT FACILITATE RESTORATION?
1. DESIRE (Mark 11:24)
2. REVELATION OF WHAT YOU LOST (Gen 13:14-15, Eph 1:17-19)
• You cannot pursue recovery of what you don’t know.
• Revelation will lead to discovery and discovery will lead to recovery.
• You can’t recover what has not been discovered.

3. FAITH IN GOD (Heb 11:6)
• Have faith in God’s restoration power.
• Have faith that God means what He says and you can have what He says you can have.

4. PRAYER (Gen 32:24-28, 1 Chr 4:9-10)
• This is not a prayer that you pray once and forget about, it is a prayer that needs to be re-enforced.
• You need to engage the Holy Spirit as the spirit of grace and supplication.
• Without prayer there can be no restoration.

5. THE FORCE OF THE PROPHETIC (Isa 44:26, 2 Kings 7:1, 8:5, Ezek 37:4, 7, 9-10)
• Restoration is provoked by speakings.
• When God wants to bring about restoration:
a. He may send a man to speak to your moment for the restoration to take place
b. He may stir your spirit and in that moment, you need to be the prophet of your own destiny and speak restoration based on the revelation you have been given.

6. THE FORCE OF STEADFASTNESS (Luke 22:28-30, Gal 6:9, 2 Tim 4:1-2, Luke 19:12-13)
• In the last days, there will be many satanic assaults that will make people give up.
• If you are going to recover you need to be steadfast.
• To be steadfast means you are immovable, regardless of circumstances.
• There will be a lot of temptations that can make you give up.
• If you give up, will you recover anything?
• Steadfastness makes you keep doing things.
• Many people do good things but don’t continue until they see results.
• It is tireless giving and service that will make you see results.
• “I used to serve God,” is not good enough.
• In the kingdom of God, when you stop doing good things, you abort your harvest.
• Someone worked, fought and stood for every good thing you can admire today.
• This spirit is a spirit that keeps us going season in and season out in our stewardship to God.
• If you started believing God for something and along the way you stop, you have lost what you were believing for.

7. THE FORCE OF GRATITUDE (Col 2:7, Phili 4:6-7)

Rev 4:1-2
• Every time God wants to open a new door, chapter , season for somebody, He will give an instruction.
• What we call an open door is actually an instruction.
• An instruction is supposed to be obeyed.
• Your next chapter will depend on an instruction and your obedience to the same.
Luke 21:15, Prov 1:1-2, 10:13, 4:1-2, 13 , 5:13
• It is instructions that make high-flyers.
• All kingdom high-fliers are men of instructions.
• Instructions are meant to be obeyed.
• In this kingdom, everything that is working in somebody’s life is because they obeyed an instruction.
Job 33:14-25
• An instruction from the Lord can turn everything around, if obeyed.
• It can open a new chapter in your life, if obeyed.
• In the kingdom of darkness, any deviation from an instruction given to you may spell the end of your life.
• Christians have not learned to obey instructions.
Jer 33:3, 2 Chr 20:6-11, 14-17, John 2:5, Gen 22:2, 12, Luke 5:4-6
• Don’t be the kind of person that prays but doesn’t listen for instructions.
• Satan will fight you concerning obeying an instruction because he knows an instruction will make the difference between where you are and where you must be.
Ezek 36:26-27, Jam 4:7
• Prompt obedience will bring speed to your life.
• Until your obedience is in place, you cannot punish disobedience.
• As long as you are under authority, you are in authority.
• God means well for us but disobedience to an instruction will make you stay at the same spot and it will appear as though God is not helping you
• In the school of faith, obedience is a major course.
• Every next level of yours is waiting for your obedience.
Job 22:22, 2 Kings 4:3
• Instructions are a way to an open door, opportunity, your next level.
• Behind an instruction is a promotion, a lifting.
• Instructions are highways to life.

Prayer Point:
LORD, BAPTISE ME AFRESH TO NEXT HIGHER LEVELS WITH THE SPIRIT OF PROMPT OBEDIENCE.
[EZEKIEL 36:26-27]

• In life and destiny, you need to come to a point where you make decisions that you stand by – decisions that are based on what you believe in.
• Decisions are very important in life.
• Decisions to leave one job and take up another.
• Decisions on who to marry.
• Decisions on what you need to do in order to excel regardless of what may be coming against you.
• If you don’t make decisions, nothing changes.
• A lot of people are comfortable to be torn between two things, they don’t know what they want.
• If you don’t have a focus, you will not make decisions.
• People who achieve things make tough decisions and stand by them.
• When it comes to their family, they make tough decisions and stand by them.
• Our decisions define us.
• If it’s believing, choose believing, and if it is doubting, choose that but don’t choose both.
• For you to be bear fruit, you need to be established in your decision.
• There is no tree that is constantly moving that bears fruit.
• You need to be bold enough to make decisions that are good for your life and family.
• To pray and fast is a decision.
• To be prayerful is a decision.
• To live right before God is a decision.
• To want to achieve things that God has promised is a decision.
• God doesn’t like people who are undecided, satan doesn’t like them either.
• Decisions decide our future.
• If your company is not doing alright, it may require you to make tough decisions.
• For instance if your company is not doing alright and you have 10 employees, you may need to prune 6 in order for the company to survive. You might have made relationships with those employees but you need to make that decision for the good of the company. That decision can help the company to grow bigger and who knows, in future you can bring back those employees you had to prune.
• If you are the kind of person who is afraid of people’s opinions when making decisions for your life, your life will go in the wrong way and those people you are afraid of will make right decisions for their lives.
• Don’t be afraid to make the right decision for your life.
• Get all the information you need, pray about it, and make that decision.
• No one can choose for you, they can give you advice but you have to make the decision for yourself.
• Whenever the devil wants to destroy a person’s future / vision, he gives him another vision so that he gets confused.
• If you are chasing two things, your energy will be wasted.
• We make decisions every day in life.
Mark 10:41-42, 1 Kings 18:24, Genesis 3:12
• For some, the reason why they are stuck is because they have not decided.
• If someone makes a decision for you, you won’t take responsibility.
• Decisions are not always easy.
• Some decisions will make you lose friends.
• Some decisions will make you gain friends.
• Everything we do, we have to decide.
• If you are married, you will be faced with so many decisions concerning your spouse.

• Only when a man decides to think in the light of what God has done will he become truly thankful.
• Thanksgiving requires thinking and reflecting.
• If you do not think through to list the things that God has done for you, your thanksgiving will be limited.
• If you truly think about what He has done and what He has said, you will prevent yourself from grumbling and complaining.
• What is coming ahead or what you think you have not achieved will not bother you so much if you think of what He has done before.
• When you see people are offended with God, it is because they have become ungrateful and they begin to find fault with Him.
• A truly grateful person will not find room to complain.
• Your way upward and through that barrier is actually thanksgiving.
• When you are not thankful to God, you are actually telling Him that you need to be removed from where you are.
• When you are not thankful to God, you don’t trust Him to take you to where you want to go.

WHY DO WE GIVE GOD THANKS?
1. WE OWE GOD THANKS (Luke 17:17-19, Psa 150:6)
• We have a debt of thanksgiving to God for every good thing that He has done for us.
• If you don’t thank God for what you have right now, you will never have more.
• Every human being has a debt to God, including those who don’t know Him.
• Having breath is the qualification to praise God.
• Your faith in God is expressed by you giving Him thanks.

2. THANKSGIVING FACILITATES MULTIPLICATION OF EVERYTHING (Jer 33:22, 30:19, 1 Cor 3:6)
• The way to increase things is not to complain that they are little but to give thanks for the little so that it becomes more.
• Only God gives increase.
• Start from where you, with what you have.
• The answer is with what we have but our eyes are looking at what we don’t have so as a result our hearts grow cold towards God.
• When satan wants to distract a man from his vision, he will give him another vision to focus on.
• If you are going to be copying another man, you will never rise to anything.
• Your own thing is what will make you great, not what you are copying.
• Looking at what other people have is a major reason why some people are ungrateful.
• Comparison is dangerous.
• Many will arrive in heaven not having achieved anything that was ordained for them because they were in stiff competition with others.

3. THANKSGIVING OPENS DOORS (Acts 16:25-26)

• To backslide is easy.
• It’s very easy to lose your walk with God while it takes time to build it up.
• Food plays an essential role to your body.
• All the functions our bodies are able to perform are because of the energy food provides to our bodies.
• Imagine how weak many people’s spirits are because they have not been fed.
• Your spirit is the one that fights battles.
• Your body is just being used by the spirit to launch attacks.
• In most cases, when the body is overfed, it even hinders the work of the spirit.
• None of us is as old as satan, the bible calls him an old serpent.
• He has so much experience and we cannot beat him with our human experience.
• On your own and without Jesus, you are nothing against satan.
• Satan knows all the weaknesses of men and has perfected the art of bringing people down.
• If God doesn’t help us, we won’t make it.
• Satan waits for an opportune time.
• Before that, he will watch your steps and your commitment.
• An evil day comes when you are off guard.
• Battles of life have no time table.
• When you think everything is alright, that is when the enemy will strike.

THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION (THE SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING)
Eph 1:17-19
• This spirit is the believer’s eyesight.
• This is not knowledge that you read in a newspaper, it is revealed knowledge that only God knows.
• When you see it, understand it and apply it, you rise above whatever you are facing.
• Revelation is the ability to see what God is saying in the word.
• This usually works with the spirit of wisdom because you need to apply what you see.
• Just hearing something is information. It becomes revelation when you see it.
• This spirit of revelation opens our spiritual eyes to see and opens our spiritual understanding of the truth of God’s word (Mat 13:23).
• The only word that will ever produce fruit in your life is the one you have understood.
• This spirit of revelation makes us to be of quick understanding in the knowledge of God and grants us access to the greatness of his power.
• When we are reading the word, this spirit makes us to see what others can’t see, including professors who teach theology.
• Revealed knowledge is superior to anything else.
• The revelation that comes from God is superior the the condition you are in, the circumstances, whatever you are seeing because the word of the Lord supersedes everything else.

WHY DO WE NEED THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION?
1. God has new things in store for us every day (Rom 11:33, 1 Cor 8:2, Lam 3:22-23)
• The little you know is not enough, there is more that God wants you to know on every subject matter.

2. Empowers our capacity to understand God’s word when we read or hear (John 16:12-13)
• Once you understand, faith is automatic.
• If you are still conscious of people laughing at you for carrying out what you hear from God, you’re still operating in the flesh.
• A spiritual man behaves like a mad man.
• Every time the agenda of satan is revealed through the spirit of revelation, that thing is over.

WHY DO WE NEED THE SPIRIT OF POWER?
1. To subdue, dominate, silence and put the enemy under our feet (Psa 110:1-3, Mark 4:35-5:2).
• You rule by the spirit of power, not by speaking English.
• When power is present, there is a willingness.
• The devil that wants to stop people from relating with you is dislodged.
• The devil can stop any one of your destiny helpers on their way to you and you will be left wondering what is happening.
• When you are in charge, people will be willing.
• People don’t buy things because they are nearer to where they are.
• Whatever it takes to get power, get it.
• No matter what they plan, when you are in charge, the power of God will nullify their agenda.

2. To set the captives free (Isa 61:1, 2 Chron 22:7)
3. To break the gates of hell (Zec 4:6, Acts 16:25-26)
4. For signs and wonders (Luke 4:18, 5:8, 26, John 4:48)
• Signs and wonders make people to believe God.
• Signs and wonders are the sickles of harvest.
5. To clear enemies on the way to our destinies (1 Cor 16:9)

HOW DO I ACCESS AND GROW IN POWER?

1. PRAYING (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8)
2. FASTING (Luke 4:14, Mat 17:19-21, 2 Sam 3:1, Gen 49:19)
• Everyone must fast because we all have destinies to fulfill.
• The more you pray and fast, you will be entrusted with more authority, in addition to power.
• Some battles of life are not instant battles, we have to keep growing while our enemies are getting weaker and weaker.
• Most people are facing long wars.
• You must be determined to keep growing in power.

3. OBEDIENCE (Acts 10:38, John 5:30, 8:29)
4. THE WORD OF GOD (Ezek 2:2)
5. THIRST (Psa 63:1-3)

THE SPIRIT OF MIGHT
Mic 3:8, Judg 14:6, Eph 3:16, Joel 2:1-10, 1 Kings 18:46
• The purpose of the spirit of might is to strengthen us.
• He is the one that gives us strength when we are weak.
• Church growth is work.
• Anything to do with work will require the spirit of might.

• What will make your body last on the prayer altar so that you can last in prayer is the spirit of might.
• You can call the spirit of might an immunity booster.
• What you call long life is a function of strength.
• In the absence of strength, you may not live long.
• The spirit of might will cause you to survive.
• You need the spirit of might to sustain you on the prayer altar.
• You need the spirit of might to sustain you in the harvest field.
• This spirit makes you to move from strength to strength.
• You need this spirit in every area of your life.
• The spirit of might will determine how early or late you die.
• You need your body in tip-top condition to do the work of God.
Mat 26:40-41
• Prayer is hard work but it is hard work that is done through the flesh (your body).
• The strengthener of your flesh to make you last in prayer is the spirit of God.
• Moses lasted forty days and night with God by reason of the spirit of might.
Luke 22:43
• The strengthening of your body affects the mind in a positive way.
• Your body is the one that carries your spirit.
• As long as your body is strong, you will do business for God here on earth.
• Your spirit can’t hang around here without your body.
• Self-control is attached to the spirit of might.

John 3:30-32, Isa 11:1-3
• April is the month of the Holy Spirit My Helper.

Who is a helper? (according to the dictionary)
• A person who contributes to the fulfillment of a need or furtherance of an effort or purpose.
• An assistant.
• A supporter.

• As believers we face issues but it is as though we don’t have a helper because we don’t relate with Him.
• When you know that you have help, everything else changes.
1 Cor 1:22-24

ENCOUNTER WITH THE SPIRIT OF POWER

2 Tim 1:6-7
• A sound mind is a mindset that has been formulated by a certain wisdom.
• A sound mind is the mind of Christ.
• Love is of the mind.
• Satan uses fear to destroy people while God uses faith to bring people into His will and purpose for their lives.
• The victory you need in life to get to where you are going will require you to have the right mindset, the love of God,
• The spirit of love is what drives you into God’s presence.
• The spirit of love is what makes you to put God first above anything else.
Acts 1:8, 17:6, Luke 24:49
• You know what God wants you to do in life but if you don’t get power, you won’t get there.
• In the absence of power, satan can stop the agenda of God at a national level.
• Satan stopped the construction of God’s church in the days of Zechariah and it took power for construction to resume.
• Strength and long life are a function of the spirit of might.
Zec 3:9, 4:6-9, Luke 10:17-19
• When the wisdom of God is on your lips and you speak, you are actually provoking power to go in your direction.
Deut 8:18

WHY DO WE NEED THE SPIRIT OF POWER?

• In the spirit realm, ranks are respected.
• When you are born-again, you are far much higher in rank than any angel and any host of heaven.
• You can rebuke satan in the name of Jesus.
• Satan takes advantage of ignorance in the body of Christ.
• It is not easy to destroy a child of God, satan has to make him to be fearful and use his own mouth to destroy his defense.
• Your wrong confession can give satan license to put you in bondage again.
• It’s not easy to kill a child of God.
• The reason why Job was attacked is that satan was aware of the hedge of protection that was around him but Job wasn’t.
• The consciousness of what God has done for us is more important than what God has done for us.
• Even satan knows what God has done for you but are you are conscious of what God has done for you?
• Satan does not have power to do whatever he likes on anybody, he’ll have to do something to make you doubt what you have.
• Our problem is not satan but the lack of awareness of what God has done for us.

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
1. The spirit of faith (2 Cor 4:13)
• No one can be said to have genuine faith in God without the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit can impart faith in a person.
2. The spirit of revelation (2 Cor 4:4, Eph 1:17-18)
3. The spirit of wisdom (Eph 1:17, Deut 34:9)
• If you are lacking wisdom, your fellowship with the Holy spirit will make you wise.
• It is not right for a child of God to be called dull.
4. The spirit of servanthood (Isaiah 42:1-2)
• The spirit of God is the one who will make a person to become a servant of God and do it correctly.
• You will never find a humble person in the kingdom of God who is not under the control of the Spirit of God while satan and his cohorts make someone to be proud.

5. The spirit of counsel (John 16:12-13)
• Counsel is expert advice.
• The Holy Spirit can counsel you and represent you.
6. The spirit of sanctification (holiness) (Rom 1:4)
• To sanctify is to set apart for noble use.
• The Holy Spirit sets you apart so that you are fit to be used by God.
• You need an empowerment by the spirit in order to be holy.
7. The spirit of boldness (Acts 2:14, 14:3)
8. The spirit of dedication (Phili 1:21)
• Where you see someone dedicated to a kingdom cause, there is backing of the Holy Spirit.
9. The spirit of love (1 Cor 2:9-10, 2 Tim 1:6-7)
• You cannot love God without him helping you.
• Without the love of God, you cannot prioritise God.
10. The spirit of obedience (Deut 28:1)
11. The spirit of understanding (Isa 11:1-2)
12. The spirit of might (Isaiah 11:2)
• Might is the strengthening of the inner you by the Spirit to enable you to do what you cannot do naturally.
