John 3:16
• Something is said to be lost if it is not in the place it is supposed to be.
To be lost means:
• Not knowing where one is.
• Not being able to find one’s root.
• Having lost your bearings.
• No longer in your possession or control.
• Cannot be recovered or regained.
• Not caught with senses or mind.
Perish in Greek is apollumi. It means:
• To destroy; to put out of the way entirely.
• To render useless.
• To kill
• To devote or give over to eternal misery.
• To be ruined.
• To lose.
Life in Greek is zoe. It means:
• The state of one who is possessed of vitality.
• Absolute fullness of life which belongs to God and to Christ.
• Life real and genuine; a life active and vigorous; devoted to God. (In other words, blessed life).
• Simply put, zoe is the God-kind of life.
Acts 26:18, Gen 1:26
• Always bear in mind that it is about escaping something to something, there is nothing in between.
• After your sins and my sins are forgiven it is not yet done, we now go for an inheritance. That is when we now say that salvation is complete.
• How to access your inheritance is by the opening of your eyes.
The word dominion used in Gen 1:26 is radah in Hebrew. It means:
• To rule
• To dominate.
• To subjugate
• To prevail against.
• To bear rule.
• To take over.
• To have it the way you want it (you are in absolute control).
• The blessing (empowerment to succeed and prosper) is conveyed by spirit just like a curse is conveyed by spirit.
• Only God can say certain things that men cannot say.
• Whenever God opens His mouth, there is spirit and life inside His words.
• As you speak, your words are made possible to be heard by someone because of breath.
• As Jehovah speaks, His breath (spirit) accompanies what He has said, to go and fulfill it.
• His spirit is the performer.
• If words are spoken and they are absent of spirit, they will just be so natural.
• Even the witch doctor has to wait for the speakings of spirits for him to have something to say ( he depends on his connectivity to spirits).
Gen 2:7, 3:6-7
• Don’t confuse yourself to think your body is you, your body is just your casing.
• The body without the spirit is dead.
• We are not ordinary.
• We are the only ones who are licensed to cast out spirits.
• It takes a spirit to cast out a spirit.
• That is why in the Old Testament there was not casting out of spirits.
• Man had no capacity to carry the Holy Spirit because his spirit was not yet regenerated.
• When we become born-again, our spirits become embedded with the Holy Spirit.
• When we become born-again, our spirit is regenerated and we come alive once again. We rise above human life.
• When Adam and Eve were created, they were operating in the God-realm.
• Because they sinned, God caused them to be downgraded, they came lower and opened their eyes to the realm of flesh.
• Satan was a master in the realm of flesh up until the time that Jesus came.
• Satan used the fear of death to control people.
• When man fell, he began to take care of himself and that is where his struggle began.
• As long as God is not taken back to the center, you will continue to struggle like the first man.
• Man never had to provide anything for himself in the beginning, God provided everything for Him.
• Man lost glory when he fell and could no longer relate with God.
Psalm 8:4
• It is about opening of eyes.
• Opening of eyes is understanding.
• The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus was about bringing man back to the wisdom of God.
• Satan is a master of blinding minds (2 Cor 4:4).
• What man truly lost in the garden was the mind of God.
• The mind is the seat of wisdom and understanding.
• When man lost the mind of God, he could no longer hold the wisdom of God.
• He lost the capacity of God to relate with Him at a God level.
• Wisdom and understanding have to sit on a mind.
Rom 1:17-19, 28, 1 Cor 1:1-2, Acts 2:3
Rom 8:1-2, Gal 3:1, Gen 18:12, 1 Cor 2:16, Isa 60:22, Gal 3:13
• Attraction is in your mind.
• The devil attacks your mind first.
• Don’t neglect your mind.
• One of the greatest things Jesus achieved through His death was to give us His mind.
• We have the mind of the Anointed.
• The Spirit of God was involved to give us back the mind of Christ and that mind is a creative mind.
• We have the mind of Christ which means the wisdom of God has a seat in us now.
• There is a spirit that makes us wiser than men.
• When you hear Christ, think of Spirit, think of anointing.
• Don’t think like a mere man.
• The mind of Christ is not a dull mind.
• Identify yourself with Christ, that you have the mind of Christ.
Num 11:24, 27, 2 Tim 1:6, 7
• Fear is a spirit and its aim is to distort the way a man thinks so that he can be killed.
• Demons have to do a lot to kill a person.
• What witches do is to confuse the minds of people so that they start behaving in a way that will make them easy to kill.
• The mind is the battlefield.
