THE HOLY SPIRIT IN SYMBOLS: WIND & FIRE
What does wind represent?
POWER AND LIFE
⭕️What we call wind is air in motion. Air contains the oxygen we need for life.
⭕️The coming of the Holy Ghost signalled that life had come.
⭕️When you receive Jesus, it is actually the Holy Ghost who comes into you.
⭕️Wind is an invisible force that has an effect on what is visible.
⭕️Nobody can say they have seen the Holy Spirit but He is effective.
⭕️The Holy Spirit as wind is the only one who can help us move from common ground to fly to the place where we are supposed to operate.
FIRE
⭕️Fire gives light and heat.
⭕️Light is life.
What does fire signify?
1.The presence of God (Exodus 3:2-5, 19:18)
2.Approval of God (Leviticus 9:24, 6:12-13, 1 Kings 18:24, 2 Kings 1:12)
⭕️If the Lord approves you by fire, your enemies will be afraid of you.
3.Protection and guidance (Exodus 13:21)
⭕️Wherever God is leading, protection is guaranteed.
⭕️When you know what to do, you don’t panic in the presence of trouble.
4.Purifying (Isaiah 6:1-7, Malachi 3:2-3, 2 Kings 12:6)
⭕️The fire of the Lord will purify us so that our lives are pleasing to God all the time.
⭕️It is the fire of the Spirit that kills the desire for sin.
⭕️We must do all we can to desire fire.
