UNDERSTANDING THE SPIRIT OF HONOUR

Revelation 5:12

All the virtues Jesus received were not physical but they were conveyed by a Spirit.

Everything that is to be done from the spirit realm to this physical realm has to be conveyed by a spirit.

Behind lust, stealing, disobedience, and other evil vices is a spirit.

Every virtue God has, including love, is conveyed by His Spirit.

Ephesians 1:3, Ezekiel 2:2

The primary way in which spirits will enter a man is through words.

Satan will never tell you to give a high amount to God.

Words in a song can also transmit spirits.

If you sleep while the preaching of the word is going on; you have missed whatever was packaged for you.

Grace doesn’t exist in a tangible form that you can touch but it is conveyed through the Spirit of God.

Honor is one of the virtues Jesus received in Revelation 5:12, therefore, it is conveyed by the Spirit.

WHAT IS HONOUR?

1) High respect, great esteem.

2) To regard with great respect.

3) A reward or prize, title that publicly expresses your admiration and respect.

4) Give someone public praise or reward.

If there is no respect or esteem, there is no honor.

Esteem connotes differentiation.

You cannot esteem one thing better than another if you have not compared the two and observed the difference.

Don’t make the mistake of treating God like a man.

Deuteronomy 26:19, 1 Chronicles 16:27, 29:12, 28

If God has honor, it means He can give it to others.

For God to have something, it means that thing matters a lot to God.

God can make a person great because He has ability to make great.

Of the 7 things Jesus received, the church has the least understanding of Honor, which has resulted in many not even having access to the other 6 things.

God is deliberate about the issue of honor; it is very important to Him.

2 Chronicles 17:5, 18:1, 32:27

Honor is what put Solomon above all the kings of the earth, not riches.

If you don’t know something you cannot desire it.

Long life is as a result of strength and strength is what will make you live long.

When God injects you with strength you’ll be like Caleb.

Psalm 8:5

SUMMARIZED DEFINITION OF HONOR:

The willingness to reward or place value on someone for their distinctive difference.

If a man lacks wisdom he will not be able to detect honor.

You have to pass through the gate of wisdom to detect honor.

Your willingness to reward good above bad is what honor is.

When everything appears the same to you, you’ll never walk in honor.

1 Kings 3:8-9

The ability to differentiate things is called wisdom.

Whatever you don’t honor, you are not permitted to have or attract.

It is wisdom that decides your mentors.

Honor is a system God has put in place to give us access to His virtues.

If you see someone who’s succeeding in life, there is a particular voice that person has been honoring.

Similarly, if you see a frustrated person in life, there is a voice that person has been dishonoring.

Many are in problems because of the law of the first.

What did God tell you about your first salary? Your first increase?

Matthew 6:33 is about honor.

Honor is the access code in the kingdom of God.

Honor is not a gift, it is a reward, a payment for your actions

HOW DOES HONOR FROM GOD COME?

1)THE FEAR OF GOD [Numbers 25:10-13, Psalm 45:7]

2) LOVING GOD [Psalm 91:14-15, 1 Corinthians 2:9]

Love for God places men in honor.

3) BY YOU HONORING GOD [1 Samuel 2:30]

When you honor God, God honors you.

WHAT DO YOU HONOR GOD WITH?

1(a) With your treasure [Proverbs 3:9, Ezekiel 44:30, Malachi 1:6, Matthew 6:21, 33]

The first part of every increase that comes into your life belongs to God.

If you are promoted and you get a salary increment, the increment (difference between your salary at your new level and your old salary) belongs to God because that is what will keep you safe in your new realm.

If God is not part of your increase, the devil will send you back to the old realm you came from.

(b) With your time [Psalm 144:4, Isaiah 58:13, 14, Colossians 4:5]

Use your time to do God’s bidding.

(c) With your talents [Matthew 25:14]

(d) With your temple [1 Corinthians 6:8-20]

You honor God with how you use your body, what you feed your body, and how you keep your body.

Your body is the only thing that can allow God to do things here on earth through you.

If your body gives up, the Spirit of God also departs.

Gluttony is abusing the temple of God.

(e) With your heart [Isaiah 29:13, Proverbs 4:23, 23:26]

Your eyes and ears are the gateway to your heart.

Your heart must be given to God.

4) HUMILITY BEFORE GOD [Proverbs 15:33, 18:12, 29:23]

Every man that is humble before God is up for a lifting.

God will not humble you, you have to humble yourself.

5) THROUGH SACRIFICE [John 12:24-26, Genesis 4:3-4, Hebrews 11:4, 1 Chronicles 21:15-16]

Sacrifice is what is demanded, it is not what is convenient to you.

Be careful what you call sacrifice.

Whichever voice you have decided to obey is your master.

Abel offered his sacrifice by faith, which entered him through the word of God that he heard. (Romans 10:17)

Behind every genuine sacrifice must be the voice of the one that is receiving the sacrifice.

Don’t use your budget or your needs to determine your sacrifice.

Ask God what your sacrifice should be, and ask Him for empowerment to carry out what He’s going to tell you.

Don’t heed the voice of fear.

No man can give something acceptable to God unless God tells him what is acceptable.

It’s not enough to ask God to show what you need to do, but you also need to ask for empowerment to do.

It pays to hear God, don’t hear fear or the bills.

Don’t ask for revelation without empowerment to do.

Only applied revelation leads to manifestation.

PRAYER POINT:

FATHER, BAPTIZE ME AFRESH WITH THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND HONOR SO THAT I MAY BE A CANDIDATE FOR LIFTINGS.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

PRACTICAL HONOR WILL BE YOUR REALITY FROM THIS DAY.

THAT (85-YEAR-OLD CALEB BEING AS STRONG AS HE WAS 40 YEARS EARLIER) IS THE PORTION OF COVENANT PEOPLE AND MAY IT BE YOUR PORTION FROM THIS DAY FORTH.

MAY THE LORD BAPTIZE US WITH THE SPIRIT OF LOVE FOR HIM.

THE LORD HELP US TO BE HUMBLE.

MAY OUR SACRIFICE BE ACCEPTABLE BEFORE GOD.

MAY I DECLARE TO SOMEONE: ALL THE NONSENSE THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON, I SAY ENOUGH!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

BY THE MERCY OF GOD, TODAY GOD SAYS IT IS ENOUGH.

ENTER YOUR HOUSE IN 3 MONTHS!

I DON’T CARE IF IT IS AT WINDOW LEVEL OR FOUNDATION   LEVEL, ENTER YOUR HOUSE!

YOUR TIME HAS COME.

AS YOU HAVE PRAYED FOR GOD TO BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND HONOR, LET IT BE SO.

MAY THE LORD BAPTIZE YOU AND ME WITH THE SPIRIT OF HONOR! OVERFLOWING HONOR! AND MAY THIS ATTRACT HONOR FROM GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

I DECREE AND DECLARE, MAY THE LORD REMEMBER YOUR PREVIOUS ACTS OF HONOR.

MAY GOD REWARD YOU.

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN OFFERING SERVICES TO GOD, IN THIS SEASON, MAY GOD REWARD YOUR SERVICE.

IN THIS SEASON OF HONOR, MAY GOD REMEMBER YOUR OFFERINGS, YOUR TITHES.

YOU HAVE HONORED GOD WITH YOUR TITHES, MAY HE REWARD YOU WITH GREAT HONOR.

YOU HAVE HONORED GOD WITH YOUR SACRIFICES, MAY HE REACT TO YOU.

MAY HE EMPOWER YOU TO DO THE RIGHT THINGS.

AS GOD RELEASES HIS HONOR ON YOU AND I,WE WILL NEVER BE ASSOCIATED WITH ANY CURSE.

ANY CURSE HANGING OVER ANYONE’S LIFE, LET IT BE NEUTRALIZED.

I DECREE AND DECLARE, LET THE SICK BE HEALED.

I SEE A NEW CHAPTER FOR YOU.

THE LORD BLESS YOU.
