THE BLESSEDNESS OF DIVINE GUIDANCE [Part 2]
• The subject of divine guidance starts with salvation (John 10:27).
• When you are born again, divine guidance starts.
• It starts with you discovering your purpose.
• Every human being was born for a reason, a plan that God has them.
• The duty of a human being is to discover that plan from God and begin to walk in it.
• Even after you have discovered the plan and are walking in it, you need to keep checking with God so that you remain in the plan.
• Divine guidance is a non-negotiable issue.
• God will judge people based on the plan He had for them – whether they walked in it or not.
• None of us should think it’s alright to live any way that we want.
• Do you know God’s plan for your life?
• All the benefits of scripture are dependent on us being in the pathway God has for us.
• Christians that are mature die to self.
• The more mature you are as a christian, the more you will desire to be led than do what you want for yourself.
• God’s plan for your life is not ambition, it is called vision and it is supposed to be revealed to you.
• You cannot demand for a salary from an employer who has not employed you, even if you were doing work.
• Don’t mistake doing work for being in God’s plan.
• Vision is not a once and for all thing.
• You are supposed to be have several revelations of the same, according to the stage of your life you are at.
• The way to realising your vision is what we call divine guidance.
• There is a path that leads to fulfillment of your vision, stage by stage.
• Divine guidance is a lifelong journey and we need it every single day.
• God’s leading is the highway to our high places (Deut 28:1).
• No matter how difficult what God is telling you to do is, it is meant for your lifting.
• Goodness and mercy usually follow every believer led by God. (Psalm 23:1, 6)
• Following His leading puts us in command of the supernatural (Mark 16:15-16, 20).
• Every time you are following His leading, you are in command of signs and wonders (John 2:5, 6-13)
Deut 5:32-33
• Divine leading brings about divine protection (Exo 23:20).
• When you are in His way, you are protected.
• It doesn’t mean that when you are in His way you won’t face things, you will face them but you will be protected.
• Divine protection preserves (Psalm 23:4, Gen 26:2, 12).
• The safest place to be is the place that God has guided you to.
• When God is leading you, He will provide for you (Psalm 23:1).
• It is a blessed thing to be led by God.
