SCRIPTURAL (BIBLICAL) MINDSET IN KINGDOM SERVICE [Part 3]
Phili 2:5, Job 36:11, Deut 10:12
• What you think is what you are.
• Nobody can live a life that they have not thought of.
5. POSSESS A REWARD MINDSET (1 Cor 3:8, Rev 22:12)
• Everyone shall be rewarded for their labour.
• God does not reward groups but individuals.
• We may be doing our service as a group and our collective involvement makes the project progress but rewards come to us individually according to our participation.
• Your wife cannot serve God on your behalf.
• God has given each of us talents, gifts, wisdom, resources, etc. so no one has an excuse for not serving God.
• Just like no one can eat or breath on your behalf, no one can serve God for you.
6. POSSESS A RUNNER’S MINDSET (Heb 12:1-2 , Hab 2:1-2, 1 Cor 9:24-26)
• Life in the kingdom is a race.
• You must run the race according to the rules.
• Every vision demands a run, not crawling or walking.
• You remember better by writing.
• Write your vision down.
• Many times when goals are not written, there is no seriousness in pursuing them.
• When you write down your vision, make sure it is somewhere you can see it.
• It takes discipline, dedication and sacrifice to emerge as a winner in any race.
• You must run with a mindset of wanting to win.
• Discipline: making a law for yourself, to do what is needed even when it is against your feelings.
