• God is responsible for every increase.
• People can’t stay in the increase they come into because they ignore what God said about increase and do not recognise Him.
• First fruit is the first portion of every increase.
• Tithe is 10% of what God has blessed you with e.g salary.
• The first crops or fruits to ripen in your field is your first fruit.
• According to God, the first born of every person or animal belongs to Him.
• If you have six goats, the first goat that is born from those six goats is your first fruit.
• If you have planted tomatoes, the first tomatoes to ripen are your first fruit.
• If you have a plantation of bananas, the first bananas to ripen are your first fruit. You could have 1000 plants but you will notice those that are the first to ripen and those will be your first fruit. You can either sell those first bananas and give the money as first fruit or give the bananas directly.
• If you have built flats and put tenants in those flats, the first rentals you collect are your first fruit.
• When you start your day with God, that is giving Him the first fruit of your time (day).
• If you have been doing wrong in the area of first fruits, the most important step is to ask God for forgiveness and take a new path.
• The concept of first fruit was for people to realise that in all their labours, it is God who gives increase.
• The first fruit belongs to God, not your biological parents.

• First fruit is acknowledging the God responsible for the increase in your life.
• Acknowledgement is shown by our actions.
Prov 3:1-10, Eze 44:30
• REST means to settle down and remain.
• When you enjoy a good thing for a short while and it goes away, that is not rest.
• When God causes increase to rest in your life, it means the increase will settle down and remain in your life.

In summary, some of the the first fruits you should give to God:
1. Your first born
2. The first part of your day
3. First salary
4. Salary increase or promotion at work
5. First business increase (profit)
6. First fruits / crops to ripen
7. First animal to be born from your livestock
