UNDERSTANDING DIVINE WISDOM
Mark 6:1-2
• Wisdom is seen from words.
• You can tell if a man is foolish or not when you listen to him talk.
• Your words reflect the kind of wisdom that is at work in you.
• We will know what is inside you by the words you speak.
John 3:2
• God talks.
• It takes wisdom to command exploits (John 3:2).
• To see things done that are outstanding and beyond the wisdom of man requires the wisdom of God.
• Wisdom is the acquisition and intelligible application of relevant knowledge.
• It is possible to be wise financially and foolish martially.
• You cannot take financial wisdom and apply it to marriage.
• Every area of our lives requires a particular wisdom for it to work.
• Wisdom is not common sense, it is acquired sense.
• When a man has an acquired working knowledge in a particular pursuit, he is wise.
• Wisdom is validated by mighty works (Mark 6:2, Psalm 104:24)
• Even change of levels requires wisdom.
• Wisdom doesn’t wait for solutions, it creates solutions.
• Wisdom is the solution to every kind of problem that a man will ever face on the earth.
• All problems are revelations of the wisdom we have not yet acquired in those areas.
Proverbs 3:19, 24:3
• When acquisition stops, stagnation has entered.
• It is wisdom to be tolerant.
• Give people room to grow.
• You might be the founder and visionary of a company but if you are looking to employ someone who is as intelligent as you that won’t make mistakes, you might not find one.
• As the visionary of that company you must keep teaching and correcting those you employ otherwise you will keep on firing people.
• If you find someone that perfectly fits your vision, it is likely that person is also another visionary and has their own vision to fulfill somewhere else.
• It takes a lot to train.
• There is no organisation in this world that has perfect employees.
• Teach your employees to have the good attitude of wanting to learn every time.
• Big people who go far learn from anybody and they will not be ashamed to ask questions.
• Not everyone is as intelligent as you.
• Not everyone learns as slow or as fast as you.
• The journey of acquiring wisdom is an everyday journey (Luke 2:52).
Exodus 28:3
• Wisdom always has works that show that it is present.
• Don’t say you are wise when there is no proof of your wisdom.
• The written word of God is the wisdom of God (2 Timothy 3:15).
• Wisdom will bring about the reality of everything that Jesus died for in your life.
• Wisdom is operating by the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)
