HONOUR IS THE ACCESS TO LONGEVITY AND BLESSING
Genesis 18:1
⭕️Don’t ever mention favour if you do not know honour because you will have none and you will be frustrated.
⭕️Before God can do anything, His word must go forth and be released.
⭕️When a word that speaks to the moment is released, it is called a prophetic word.
⭕️This is a word that moves quickly to put certain things in place for what Has been spoken to happen.
⭕️When a word is spoken, it must be received for it to manifest.
⭕️Receiving the word is accepting it and going ahead to do what the word says.
Matthew 21:28-31, Hebrews 13:2, Exodus 5:1, 2:24, 3:6, 7:6, 9
⭕️God has to look for a man on the earth to agree with Him.
⭕️Faith is now.
⭕️In your confession of faith, be careful with anything that says, “I was.”
⭕️Faith deals with the now.
⭕️Mind your language.
⭕️Don’t speak English, speak faith.
⭕️The language of faith doesn’t go hand in hand with grammar.
⭕️When you’re speaking faith, you’re speaking broken English.
John 11:25
⭕️God loves feasts (occasions where we are celebrating) (Exodus 5:1).
⭕️What matters to Him is if you’re doing it in His honour.
⭕️By the activities happening during a celebration, you can know whether it is God or the devil being celebrated at that feast.
⭕️You cannot have a visitation if you’re not careful with the issue of honour.
What is honour?
1.When you show respect towards somebody or something (honour is respect)
⭕️Respect is an attitude of admiration and esteem.
⭕️To respect is to regard highly, to think much of
⭕️To esteem means to regard highly, respect or value.
⭕️Honour starts with wisdom.
⭕️Wisdom is that ability that makes a man to differentiate things: to know which one is more important / valuable than the other.
⭕️What you do to celebrate the value that you have identified through wisdom, is what is called honour.
⭕️If you lack wisdom, you will treat all seasons the same and you will miss out.
⭕️If you lack wisdom, you will treat all men the same and you will miss out.
⭕️The honour Jesus showed God the Father gave Him access to lifting (Philippians 2:9).
⭕️Honour will always give you access; it is a door to accessing anything.
⭕️Dishonour is also a door, but is a door to bad things.
WHO SHOULD WE HONOUR?
1.GOD (1 Samuel 2:30-31, Joel 2:16)
⭕️Don’t treat God like a human being, be careful.
⭕️Jesus honoured the father and the father honoured Him more.
⭕️Only a man who has a little bit of honour in him can understand what honour is and can honour.
⭕️Your 40 days of prayer and fasting means nothing if you lack honour for God.
⭕️Honour God by showing Him reverence.
⭕️Premature death is common in a generation where there is dishonour.
2.SPIRITUAL AUTHORITIES (1 Timothy 5:17, Hebrews 13:7, John 6:1-4)
3.PARENTS (Ephesians 6:2-3)
4.AUTHORITIES IN OUR COMMUNITES (such as leaders of government)
5.YOURSELF
⭕️To honour yourself is to present yourself in a manner that makes you to be seen as a decent and respectable person.
