Make enquiries from God, don’t always wait for Him to speak to you.

When you enquire of God, what you should expect is to receive direction.

An instruction given to you yesterday might not be relevant for you today, make a habit of making fresh enquiries of the Lord.

1 Samuel 30:6-8,18

You need a clear mind to see God’s direction, God will not speak to you when you make an enquiry while crying and in great distress.

When you make an enquiry of the Lord, be expectant of an answer, but don’t tell God what method you think He should use to communicate to you.

God will communicate to you using any method He chooses, keep an open mind.

2 Samuel 2:1

Keys that facilitate divine guidance

1.Be born again (Romans 8:14, John 10:27)

   The Holy Spirit only leads God’s children.

2.You must have a desire to be led (be willing) (Matthew 11:28-29, Psalm 25:2-5, 9)

3.Meekness (Psalm 25:9)

   Nobody shows the proud which way to go.

   It takes humility to ask questions.

   The more humble you are, the more grace you will enjoy from God.

   Proud people have no grace operating on their lives. (James 4:16)

   Be ready to appear like you don’t know everything.

   Don’t feel ashamed to say that you don’t know everything.
